How can we help?

Answers to the most common questions about subscriptions, sync, your data and reminders, and how to reach us when you need a person.

Contact support

Email us at support@tenlygoals.app. Tenly is made by an independent developer, so the more detail you share, the easier it is to help.

Please include:

  • Your iPhone model (for example, iPhone 15)
  • Your iOS version (Settings → General → About → iOS Version)
  • The Tenly version (on Tenly’s App Store page, under Version History)
  • What happened: what you did, what you expected and what you saw instead. A screenshot helps.

Please don’t send the text of your journal. We don’t need it to help you.

Subscriptions and billing

Tenly Pro is billed monthly or yearly through your Apple Account. Apple handles all payments, so most billing changes happen in your iPhone’s settings, not in the app.

How to cancel Tenly Pro

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap Tenly Pro, then Cancel Subscription.

Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date, or the next period may already be charged. After you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. If you are on a free trial, cancelling before it ends means you won’t be charged.

How to restore your purchase

If Pro doesn’t show up after you reinstall Tenly or switch devices:

  1. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe.
  2. Open the Tenly Pro screen (the paywall) in the app.
  3. Tap Restore Purchases.

Refunds

Payments go through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple too. We can’t issue them ourselves. To request one, sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com, find your Tenly purchase and follow the steps.

New iPhone and iCloud sync

Your journal lives on your iPhone and in your private iCloud. If iCloud is turned on for Tenly, your entries sync automatically. On a new iPhone:

  1. Sign in with the same Apple Account you used before.
  2. Make sure iCloud is on for Tenly (Settings → your name → iCloud).
  3. Install Tenly and open it. Give it a moment to sync, especially on a slow connection.

If iCloud was off on your old iPhone, your entries were stored only on that device and can’t be synced. Read more about iCloud sync and privacy in Tenly.

Deleting your data

Your journal stays until you delete it.

  • Deleting the app removes the data stored on your iPhone.
  • To remove synced data, go to iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Tenly and delete its data.
  • Data linked to your anonymous identifier (used for analytics, crash reports and subscription management) can be deleted on request. Email support@tenlygoals.app.

AI requests are not stored by our proxy. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what is kept, by whom and for how long.

Reminders not showing

Tenly’s reminders (morning reminder, Evening Review and streak warning) are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. If they don’t appear:

  1. Open Settings → Notifications → Tenly and make sure Allow Notifications is on.
  2. In Tenly’s settings, check that the reminder is turned on and set to the time you want.
  3. Check whether a Focus mode, such as Sleep or Do Not Disturb, is silencing notifications at that time.

The Evening Review opens between 20:00 and 23:00. Learn more about how reminders work.
