These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to Tenly (“10 Goals Daily Writing – Tenly”, “the App”), published by Taras Chernysh (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.
1. License — Apple’s Standard EULA
The App is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
These Terms supplement the Standard EULA. If anything here conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA prevails.
2. The service
Tenly is a journal for writing your goals and gratitude every day. It includes daily goal and gratitude entries, the Magic Wand goal, a 30-day lockout on past entries, the Evening Review, streaks and Wins, reminders, iCloud sync, and optional AI features (reports, insights and Ask AI). Features may change as we improve the App.
3. Your content
You own everything you write in the App. When you choose to use an AI feature, you allow us to send the relevant entries to our AI provider only to generate the result you requested, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Subscriptions (Tenly Pro)
- Tenly Pro is an auto-renewable subscription offered monthly or yearly. The title, length and price of each plan are shown in the App before you buy. Prices vary by country and are charged in your local currency.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription. You won’t be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com).
5. AI-generated content
AI features use Anthropic’s Claude models. AI output is for informational and motivational purposes only. It is not medical, psychological, financial, legal or other professional advice. It may be inaccurate or not fit your situation, so don’t rely on it alone for important decisions. Monthly limits apply (for example, Ask AI allows a set number of questions per month, as shown in the App).
6. Acceptable use
Don’t use the App unlawfully. Don’t try to reverse-engineer it or get around its security or usage limits. Don’t interfere with the App or our service providers, or use automated means to access our AI service.
7. Intellectual property
The App’s design, code, text, graphics and the “Tenly” name belong to us or our licensors. You get only the rights described in the Standard EULA and these Terms.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue. This includes damages from your use of the App, from AI-generated content, or from outages of third-party services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.
9. Termination
You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend access to online features, such as AI, if you breach these Terms or abuse the service.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, tell you in the App. If you keep using the App after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws specified in the Standard EULA, unless mandatory law in your country of residence says otherwise.
